Your wallet is self-custodial.
When you create an Omen account, an embedded wallet is generated for you using Privy’s wallet infrastructure. This means:
Wallet authorization happens through your device and authentication method. Neither Omen nor Privy can independently access or transfer your assets.
Wallet recovery is handled through Privy’s recovery system.
Privy uses a key-splitting architecture in which signing authority is derived from multiple cryptographic shares. In general:
When you sign in on a new device, these shares are securely reassembled to restore wallet access.
Important notes:
You are responsible for maintaining access to your recovery method and devices.
No.
Because Omen is non-custodial and does not control wallet keys or recovery shares, we cannot restore wallet access on your behalf. Wallet recovery is performed through Privy’s infrastructure using your configured recovery options.
Using Omen may involve multiple types of fees, including:
Omen does not control blockchain gas fees. Any applicable fees should be shown to you before you confirm a transaction.
Omen supports Ethereum-compatible blockchains, including Polygon. Supported networks may change over time as the product evolves.
Blockchain transactions are processed by decentralized networks outside of Omen’s control.
If a transaction fails or remains pending:
Omen cannot reverse, cancel, or modify transactions once submitted to the network.
No.
